San Jose’s Funny Face is a playful, fuzz-drenched alt/punk outfit that’s here to get you sweaty and make you spill your drink on the dancefloor. The band blends big hooks and guitars with a DIY aesthetic full of the kind of lo-fi immediacy that makes people dedicate their lives to rock and roll. Band members Adam Szyndrowski (guitar/vocals), Mallery Petty (bass/vox), and Ryan Hendry (drums) are a compelling musical unit that adds no-frills to its vision of what rock music should be, preferring to drive songs straight at listeners in a refreshingly direct way.
