Citing bands like Nirvana, Radiohead, Mötley Crüe, Drake, and Weird Al Yankovic as influences, Enumclaw's sound is a mashup of shoegaze, post-grunge, and emo. The mix is a kind of ironic evocation of the music that made the Pacific Northwest so popular in the '90s. Cruise Control expands on the sound that they so desperately tried to cultivate on their EP, Judgment Day. While maintaining post-punk energy, the band incorporates genres into their style such as pop-punk, country, classic rock, and reggae. The album has been overall described as “pretty good”.

Jordan Alexander (jrdn alexander.) is a multi-genre musician and graphic designer from Baltimore, MD. Inspired by many genres and art styles, Jordan fits into his own box of creativity and is always looking for new sounds or ideas to experiment with.

DWEEB is an EP by jrdn alexander that features lethargically chanted lyrics over punchy bass riffs and sequenced drums. Easy to listen, hard to stop.

50% groovy, 51% twangy, Triple Bogie’s debut EP ‘Premiere Feature’ is a low-fi hodge-podge of country, soft rock, and R&B. This record attempts to re-interpret the vibes of the great studio masterpieces of 60s and 70s singer-songwriters, featuring a variety of instrumentation including pedal steel guitar, piano, fiddle, and synths. But while those guys had big fancy studios and session musicians, Triple Bogie made do with a bedroom, a few cheap microphones, and some great friends.

‘Premiere Feature’ explores loneliness and the feeling of being stuck in the past. As it turns out, this record ended up being the cure for those things.

Since recording the ‘Premiere Feature’, Triple Bogie has added three band members and is now playing shows across Seattle.

Amongst countless EPs, this is the first album release since 2015's HAPPYMADSAD under their younger alias, "Zero Cosby".

𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗦𝗢𝗡 features eight audibly explosive tracks. All of which flaunts roaring basslines, haunting melodies, low-end guitar riffs, and distant drums that blanket lyrics questioning and or challenging the reality of everyday emotions.

"Beyond questionable fascination with the name, Samson is more of an internal voice with many tones and pitches, has no real identity, but deals with all my emotions and is able to communicate this through music. I also seem to always name things I get attached to Samson- I have like 3 things named Samson, it's nuts. I feel like I poured a lot of myself into this album and have grown to call it a personal survival guide, so to name it this felt right. I encourage those who listen to redefine the meaning of this album and make it their own soundtrack."

Winsome doesn’t try to flaunt their mastery of their craft, it’s not in their nature. But on “Late To The Moon,” the Sacramento 3-piece’s third release in two years, their songwriting comes across as gasconade. ‘Burnt’ is a cathartic release of fast, loud, and noisy punk that will keep you listening from front to back! Recorded and mixed by Evan Easthope of Completely Small Green Glass Studios and mastered by Jack Shirley of the Atomic Garden Studios, the album showcases Hell Baby’s wide array of creative influences and the evolution of their sound from their previous release, ‘All Babies Go To Hell’ of 2022.

The album is released on transparent red cassette tapes, digipak CDs, and all streaming platforms. Released July 14, 2023.

Wimps are at it again with City Lights, another slacker punk moshterpiece ready for the internet to gobble up. Lead singer and composer Rachel Ratner offers stark and playful wordage melding minimalist hooky riffage to cover such prescient topics as the rise of ubiquitous ai (Mind Reader); loneliness, growing inequality, and the loss of community and self (City Lights); a yearning for a return to a feral past (Animal); pollution and climate terrorism (Lake Washington), creating life (Mom) and promising a maybe undeliverable hope to that life during an unceasing pandemic (Morning), among other daily mundanity. Dave Ramm is the drummer and Matt Nyce plays bass.

Indeed, wimps’ City Lights may well stand as an artifact of humanity in a time of increasingly glossed and flawed expression. An imperfect, live, energetic, human statement made by 3 imperfect, mostly alive, yet rapidly deteriorating early 40s bit players of various Seattle whos and whats of a time long ago and soon to be forgotten. City Lights is a collection of solid classic wimps bops from stop to finish.

Despite posing as a Seattle-based music ensemble, the true origins and motives of So Pitted remain a mystery. Eyewitness accounts and blurry cellphone footage sightings of the band have rapidly increased, putting relevant agencies on high alert. Further documentation of their activities appears in the sophomore album release CLONED, distributed by the underground faction Youth Riot Records on March 8, 2024.

Until this recent warning, some assumed the threat of So Pitted had subsided. Meanwhile, the group toiled in darkness summoning sonic aberrations with the supervision of Tad Doyle, a noted paranormal expert and musician. What emerged are 12 transmissions of post-nuclear visions,  mutant transformations, and existential terror. Unidentified inside sources claim singer Nathan Rodriguez astrally projects into parallel realities to steal unreleased material from other musicians, leaving hints of their origins in song titles. One musicologist exposed to leaked copies of the recording disappeared and has not yet been located.

Thrill-seekers and academics alike have tracked their movements across the country reporting unexplainable phenomena like floating lights, subliminal influence, and what one researcher described as “musical abduction”, emerging from a trance-like state with no sense of time or place. Many attendees observed a member known as Ziam has been seen to either shapeshift or phase in and out of space. Others claim that no such person exists and that one or all band members may be hallucinatory projections. Authorities caution civilians to remain vigilant in monitoring the activities of So Pitted to ensure the safety and security of the public.

Psychotic Spew is the debut album by Seattle Gunk Pop trio, Black Ends. An album long awaited by many, it is a dark and brooding achievement that breaks and creates you at every corner. From the highest highs of ‘Bent’ to the lowest lows of ‘Bye-Bye!’, there is a song for everyone here. Black Ends does not hold back yet a single feeling as the songwriting is sprinkled with as much catchy and clever humor as it is a mesmerizing and perfect sadness. The album is strewn with astounding instrumentation throughout with stand-out string performances by legendary composer and cellist, Lori Goldston. This is not an album to ignore - in fact, it is an album everyone should try at least once - just to feel like you’ve lived a little.

Ok Bucko is a Seattle-based power-pop band. They reach through the past to construct music for the modern moment. On this self-titled EP, Ok Bucko melds their influences from DIY punk to shoegaze and grunge, pulling along everyone who can get down with a catchy hook and fuzzy guitars. Ok Bucko is Miranda Hardy on guitar and vocals, Chelsea Rodgers on keys and backing vocals, Khyre Matthews on bass, and Zeke Bender on drums.

Triple Bogie blends a diverse array of musical traditions to craft a unique sonic experience.
