Rat Queen’s sophomore album, Generational Decay, is the product of best friends and musical collaborators, Jeff Tapia and Daniel Koren. Along with other band members, Jordan Brawner, Ana Von Huben, Naomi Adele Smith, Sean Lisle, and Paul Davis, the Seattle band refines their sound from their previous release, Worthless, on Den Tapes. With the new six-member configuration, Generational Decay brings a more expansive and driving sound to the band. Their new album has been described as 2000s indie and pop punk.
