Winsome - Late to the Moon

Sale Price:$8.00 Original Price:$10.00

Winsome doesn’t try to flaunt their mastery of their craft, it’s not in their nature. But on “Late To The Moon,” the Sacramento 3-piece’s third release in two years, their songwriting comes across as gasconade. What stands out to new and veteran fans alike is Winsome’s command of the cauldron of enchanted arrangements that betray the oft-feared shallowness of a 3-piece.

Triple Bogie - Premiere Feature
Sale Price: $8.00 Original Price: $10.00

50% groovy, 51% twangy, Triple Bogie’s debut EP ‘Premiere Feature’ is a low-fi hodge-podge of country, soft rock, and R&B. This record attempts to re-interpret the vibes of the great studio masterpieces of 60s and 70s singer-songwriters, featuring a variety of instrumentation including pedal steel guitar, piano, fiddle, and synths. But while those guys had big fancy studios and session musicians, Triple Bogie made do with a bedroom, a few cheap microphones, and some great friends.

‘Premiere Feature’ explores loneliness and the feeling of being stuck in the past. As it turns out, this record ended up being the cure for those things.

Since recording the ‘Premiere Feature’, Triple Bogie has added three band members and is now playing shows across Seattle.

Enumclaw - Jimbo Demo
from $6.00

“Tacoma, Washington’s Enumclaw bill themselves as ‘The Best Band Since Oasis,’ but they’re self-released and, thanks to COVID, have never had a chance to play a live show…Blown-out guitars and languid beats conjure a sort of dingy, Pacific Northwest shoegaze.” - Marc Hogan, Pitchfork

“Last year was a banner year for Tacoma-based rock band Enumclaw.

After dropping their first single "Fast N All" in early 2021, the band blew up, nabbing features in the Seattle Times, KEXP, Pitchfork, and The Fader before playing any public live shows. In April, they dropped their debut EP Jimbo Demo to rare reviews. And just last week, Enumclaw announced Luminelle Recordings signed them. Things are only looking up for the grungy four-piece…

Citing bands like Nirvana, Radiohead, Mötley Crüe, Drake, and Weird Al Yankovic as influences, Enumclaw's sound is a mashup of shoegaze, post-grunge, and emo. The mix is a kind of ironic evocation of the music that made the Pacific Northwest so popular in the '90s. There's an angst inherent to the band's distorted guitar and disaffected, flat singing, with lyrics earnest enough to make you want to sing along—like when Johnson speak-sings with his characteristically brash vulnerability, "Remember when we were kids/ How did it end up like this/Those are the days that I miss" on Jimbo Demo album opener ‘Cents’.” - Jas Keimig, The Stranger

jrdn alexander. - SAMSON
Sale Price: $8.00 Original Price: $10.00

"For the lost, for the found; For the ill, for the cured; For the things and no things" are a few ways that lo-fi producer and songwriter 𝗷𝗿𝗱𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿. describes his new album, 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗦𝗢𝗡: A post-punk-driven, genre-focused, D.I.Y album. Amongst countless EPs, this is the first album release since 2015's HAPPYMADSAD under their younger alias, "Zero Cosby".

𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗦𝗢𝗡 features eight audibly explosive tracks. All of which flaunts roaring basslines, haunting melodies, low-end guitar riffs, and distant drums that blanket lyrics questioning and or challenging the reality of everyday emotions.

"A clock sits on the wall, it lost its sense of time; He wonders where he's gone and how to get back; When all his faith is gone, he swallows all his pride, and listens to the faucet he calls his mind." [Lyrics from "Faucet" by 𝗷𝗿𝗱𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿.]

"Beyond questionable fascination with the name, Samson is more of an internal voice with many tones and pitches, has no real identity, but deals with all my emotions and is able to communicate this through music. I also seem to always name things I get attached to Samson- I have like 3 things named Samson, it's nuts. I feel like I poured a lot of myself into this album and have grown to call it a personal survival guide, so to name it this felt right. I encourage those who listen to redefine the meaning of this album and make it their own soundtrack."

Find a comfortable spot in your mind and or physical world to prepare yourself for a short trip through the joyfully melancholic world of 𝗷𝗿𝗱𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿'𝘀, 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗦𝗢𝗡.
